Story behind the photo:
I'd just upgraded my camera from a crop sensor Canon T2i to a full fraom Canon 5D Mark iii and took the new camera out for a test run on the trails along the Mississippi River in Minneapolis. This dragonfly was out relaxing on a log, wings spread and ready for a photo shoot. The dragonfly was an incredibly cooperative model, which allowed me to take the time to get things just so with a new-to-me camera. Thank you, Dragonfly friend, wherever you are.
